In Athens, Epicurus bought a property for his school called “Garden”, later the name of Epicurus’ school.Its members included Hermarchus, Idomeneus, Colotes, Polyaenus, and Metrodorus. In Mytilene, the capital of the island Lesbos, and then in Lampsacus, Epicurus taught and gained followers. ![]()
